Not good - maybe 2 months max? For the amount of hours you'll need to put in, with no certainty of recognition or appreciation by immediate bosses, spare yourself the underwhelming experience, you will learn more from the private sector with people who operate real businesses, not just dream new theories.

The youngest colleague that got redesignated to DD was born in 1989. I'm born in 1993, for reference.
I found a job in the US that was US70k a year but entry level doing payroll processing. I really wanted a change of environment.

i'm a AD and my increment in 2022 was less than $1000. another DD got less than $1000. Not all get more than $1000. Envy and jealous!!! time to go

What is less than $1k? $400, $900 all also less than $1k.
People will say be grateful there is any increment. Maybe someone else’s work is better in their eyes.
Bosses anywhere usually can justify. This is what makes people want to leave.

What’s wrong with the employees in mas nowadays? You should work with pride and honour, stop being so calculative on the pay

Hear, hear?
This is a forum on salary. Any surprise topics discussed revolve around pay?
Yet there are broad themes that surely show root issues worth looking further into:
1. XXX “pushing its financial institutions to digitalize, but its own internal processes are so manual and slow. A lot of information is scattered all over the place and impossible to find. This is because for some departments, there seems to be the lack of a proper filing system, even for routine/mundane matters.” - Anyone who works in XXX would surely know what this is, so let’s leave it as that.
2. Managers who “do not have any exposure working in private companies and they are clueless how to manage people in a fast changing environment.” - Sufficiency and quality of headcount to meet expanded interpretation of mandate.
3. Appearing “to be concerned about the situation but you in fact do nothing and leave things as it is” - Whether feedback is actually listened to, tolerated and acted on.
Considering above, isn’t gripes about pay really a deeper cry for employee appreciation. Those who resign usually quote private sector’s higher pay so to not burn bridges but really, people don’t leave bad jobs they leave bad bosses.
To the poster about working with pride and honour, please do not be so presumptuous. Pride and honour is probably what keeps most people in XXX going. But it is not enough when the daily environment becomes worse than unpleasant.
The paternalism that leads to frequent use of “should” even though own behaviour doesn’t always match speech is one such unpleasantness. Employees feeling that their pride and honour has been trampled on may be another.
When only one or two say, it’s isolated cases. When more say the same thing, there is something wrong with them. Classic ivory tower mentality.
As a coda, believe they at the top have genuine good intentions. As for those below who are promoted before maturity catches up with intellect… hmmmm…

What is the annual increment likely to be? Heard it could be from 300/month to over 1k/month?

That seems pretty low for an AD. Most third year associates are already getting $5,915. The TOs that become ADs are also getting ~$6,400 for guys. So, it seems like they are low balling you. How much were you getting before you joined MAS?
