Because majority are still degree / diploma holders.

There are not many people that can give you the range for FCH Master.

Minus $200 or so.

Unregistered 12-12-2020 12:01 PM

Hi, just got accepted into procurement as senior procurement exec. Will grad from uni next year with either second lower or upper. Will like to know the progression, time to reach there and pay for procurement in DSTA.

Thanks

Definitely. not as fresh grad, probably those with scholarship and master degrees will hit 5 digit after a few years.

Unregistered 02-01-2021 03:09 PM

This is not guaranteed though.

If your master is not relevant to your job scope, they will not take that into account.

If it is relevant, they you will have an edge over promotion, but that itself is also subjected to the availability of position and internal & external competitors.

A senior engineer (under building & infrastructure) with 15 years of exp at DSTA can earn how much in basic salary assuming average performance at these years, with NS, 2nd lower NUS.

Should be somewhere around the MX11 or MX10 scale.

MX10 (Senior Management) $7,000 to $11,470
MX11 (Middle Management) $4,740 to $8,305

s://blog.moneysmart.sg/career/civil-service-salary-pros-cons/

MX10 is where the majority will retire in.

Still depend on availability and competitors.

If you are a farmer, there are not as many opportunity when compared to scholars.

Can i ask if is it possible for NTU 2nd lowers with NS in procurement to earn 8k in basic salary after 10-15 years?

Not sure for Govt, but for private sector, average worker take about 5-10 years to double their salary.

10-15 years to tripple your salary (assuming from mx 13 3k pay) seems reasonable.

Procurement

Procurement

The hierarchy seems to be
Executive (2 years) -> Lead (2 years) -> Manager (2 years) -> Senior Manager (2 years) -> Assistant Director -> Deputy Director?

Anyone able to shed light on the corresponding monthly salary (16 months) and the time to clock for each step?

IIRC, there is also a specialist path for procurement.
