It has been 2 weeks since I applied online for a hdb job.
I think should be gonna case

I see the current status as in progress.
But I read that some will not update the status.
If I did not receive any email for interview does it mean I am being rejected ?
Please advise.

Nobody can be bothered to update the status. Usually if the young HR gets arrowed to go into system to click then it changes. Who is so free... So sometimes when the whole process is over then someone get arrowed to batch modified everyone to 'rejected' lor. I have so many status 'received' and 'processing' for almost a year.

So meaning is rejected.... since no call or email for interview?

Don't lose hope but also don't stop applying. The person only wants to tell you that the status is not a reliable indicator

Just got email for second round interview, anyone knows usually what kind of questions will be asked in second round?

The position I applied is data scientist posted on 31 jan,received first round call on late March,
They didn’t even ask any technical questions, just chit chat only, today just received a call for next round, don’t know how many rounds of interview and what usually be asked in second round

First round could be HR called you in then manager not free... But already called you then just go thru procedure. Don't let your guard down, unless u r just window shopping for this job. Generally hdb is uneventful, but that also means you may not rise easily
