Hi i am interested in applying for the investment operations intern role at GIC.
Can anyone elaborate more of the operations department? How is it different from private banks where they are involved in trade settlement etc.

Every ops dep is doing the same thing: Valuation, settlement, risk management, portfolio management etc.


The only difference is the company culture and the pay.
GIC pay better than local banks do in term of ops roles.

Going for an interview as AVP next week in IT Risk division. Anybody knows what is the pay range? I have 6 years experience in a Big 4.

AVPs in GIC is higher than most banks, since u only 6 years exp can quote lower end 10-12k

How many months bonus is that? Thinking of overall pay package.

Seems like pretty good pay? 10k + 4 months bonus is 160k total package...

That is provided one gets in first. The competition is pretty intensive.
