Achievers Dream Learning Centre, any feedbacks?
Heyyy anyone worked in this tuition centre before? I saw their recruitment ads for tutors and wonder how it is like working there. They have outlets in Bukit Timah and New Tech Park.

I worked there a few years ago. I felt the boss jerald lie was super toxic. Back then it was so bad that many roles were rotational as ppl couldn't stand him.
I know he is very active on social media as some business mentor these days. IMO they are very good at wayang.

The website looks horrible to me man, so disorganized messy and errors, really is SME low budget look lmao. The salaries I found are all so low, another greedy SME towkay who prefers to keep the profit for himself than to pay his employees more.
All the Glassdoor reviews and his videos look so fake to me, own self make own self look good.
This guy has no real outside work experience other than mostly running his own small tuition centre lol.

Saw this review on glassdoor:
In my opinion, the owner Jerald Lie is greedy, incompetent and unethical. I feel that you should not work for or support such a person's business.
He likes to play low salaries so he can keep more profits. My view is that this is bad for staff.
Work contracts have many unusual and legally unenforceable terms to try to control and silence staff.
He puts many staff on short term contracts instead of normal perm hiring. He employs many low cost overseas remote workers. I feel this is done to control and intimidate staff.
Staff who fall ill and take MC are unfairly pressured and suddenly fired without doing any wrongs at work. Imagine you are already ill yet employer find fault with you for being ill and even fire you. I feel that such behaviour is horrible, along with many things Jerald Lie the owner did to staff. He has a long history of doing things like this.

I agree with these...insider here. People who take mc are indeed suddenly fired when ill.
My advice to OP is don't fall for the nice words, they are just fake and avoid the highly manipulative toxic jerald lie of achievers dream chemistry tuition as staff and student.

I was just looking at the Instagram tiktok of this jerald lie and achievers dream tuition. He runs a small tuition center with 2 or 3 outlets only. In my view he does not even seem to know much about business yet he is talking like a business mentor. If this guy joins mnc i think his level not even senior executive in our departments.
Ha ha ha😄
Everything from what I can tell from the business IT to HR to even the website of this company is so lousy and low level.

I’ve been at AD for quite some time now, and honestly, I see a lot of people talk about salary, work culture, and all that online. I get it, everyone got their own experience. But for those who actually stay long enough, the story different.
One thing about Jerald—he don’t care about being popular. He care about doing the right thing. He not the type to just make people happy for the sake of it. Sometimes, his decisions not the easiest, but they always got the team’s best interest in mind. He make sure got enough manpower so nobody die from overload. He also bring us overseas, not just for fun, but to expose us to new experiences and bond as a team. How many bosses really do that?
People say AD work tough—of course lah, every good place got high standards. But one thing I see is if you step up, you get rewarded. Promotions, pay raise, bigger roles—not given just because you stay long. You need to show you worth it. I see fresh grads come in, and in a few years, they leading teams. Some find their own strengths and grow into roles they never expect.
Honestly, this place not for people who just want easy job. But if you want to grow, learn real skills, and work in a place where effort actually gets noticed, AD got a lot to offer. People can say what they want online, but those who really stay and see, they know.
For me, staying at AD? Worth it.
