i worked for jerald lie some time ago. he is indeed a greedy manipulative guy who likes to talk a lot of fake nice words while paying his staff very low salaries. he is also very good at backstabbing and being fake nice for optics, many of us indeed could not stand him as he is very toxic and abusive verbally beneath that fake exterior so we either quit or were fired suddenly based on his mood. he is not obviously toxic as he knows how to hide his true self behind a fake kind exterior.

you can talk to many of the people who dealt with him and get the same feedback as me, many people will tell you he is a toxic person inside. he is a snake through and through.

Jerald lie (CEO) in reality: anyhow fire staff he doesnt like based on mood, fires staff who are ill for taking mc legally, job ad states perm but in reality is short term 6m 1y contract, use 6m 1y contracts to control staff, greedy CEO who likes to hire cheap filipino staff with low wages, pays very low salaries to employees so he can keep more profits, if he sees a staff sitting around doing nothing he starts to feel need to punish staff, verbally abusive, mentally unstable, dictatorship culture.

this tuition center has 3 branches right? came across it while looking for tuition recently.

lucky i saw this post. their tutors are mostly 20s who don't even have moe training.

Jerald Lie is famous for being fake and toxic one. Don't believe his act nice and friendly.

Speak to his former employees many had bad experiences with him. His company is famous for nepotism, his own family like his wife Esther and cousin hold the top jobs while outsider employees generally are underpaid and treated poorly.

His brother edrick lie also runs a company called Enspire registered to the exact same address at jalan bingka bukit timah as achievers dream chemistry tuition.

Enspire sells sales and entrepreneurship courses. I feel this company courses are not worth the fees they charge.

Edrick has an MLM background.
