Bullying at Work - Any advice please?
Hi All,
I would like to get some advise from everyone here about being bullied by my bosses. I work in a MNC with foreign talent as bosses. In December, I made a complaint to MOM(TAFEP) but it seems that all MOM(TAFEP) does is to ask company HR to investigate. Not helpful when you kinda know your company will protect their kind, especially if they are sales. So HR “investigate” and say they found nothing wrong and no action to be taken. I was not happy with their investigation so ask higher level of management to investigate. Very next day, I get my bosses email invite for Teams call. Never heard had a single call or anything from them to catch up etc in over 6 months then suddenly this. End up, HR also there and they saying my performance cannot make it for the past 2 years. Funny how it took a complaint from me to make them realise my performance got problem. I now want to ask what i can do. I make complaint to MOM(TAFEP), MOM(TAFEP) push back my company HR and they all make it my fault. Now they foreign talent complain, I am being made to prove myself. If only work, still can tahan. But living and caring for elderly parents, that adds to stress. Foreign talent bosses don’t care all is ok, but to purposely make my life more difficult is unfair. Any advice on what I should do next? |

Its hard to give advise when we dont know what you are complaining about in the first place. Anyways, dun think its possible for u to continue working there anymore since u r the "trouble worker""
. Since u said need money to survive then perhaps shld have given it a thought before submitting a complain to the authorities without discussing with ur HR first? |

You act like you can only work at this job. When people report to Mom etc, they should be ready to quit liao. People only report when they are willing to quit and want the company to be held accountable. You want to report and then still get to stay meh. Alot of staff is quit liao, then after few months later then only report so people don't suspect it's you. |
Find a new job and resign. Then escalate the issue again but cc to MoM.

You should leave the company. Then, report MOM.
You could also stay and wait for them to fire you. Then, report MOM for wrongful dismissal but unless you have good proof, it might be your words vs their words. In any case, 1. You obviously are not happy there. 2. Your prospects there look bleak. You may have already offended people who have the authority to promote or not promote you. 3. You are already being classed as an underperformer by HR. Whether rightfully or wrongfully, there is no point to care for now because HR has a say in whether to fire you. |
