FCH Mechanical engineering from NUS. Just got an offer from HTX.
It is not exactly a huge pay bump from what I am getting now, but it's still something. And going from GLC to HTX isn't too bad.

Depend on which dept you going. If going to those research and development dept, will be fun. If not, then better don’t cause you will simply be a postman and dealing with stupid commanders who shout at you and directors all jump at the small whim.the skills here will also not be useful outside as your main core duty is writing

Note that the pay already includes 13th month component
6500 is just 6000 with 13th month, and i hear other stat boards already offering 6000 for their fresh grads

You don’t have to wait for closing date. Generally speaking, if recruiter are interested in a candidate, they would have contacted by now. If they are interested and they sit on it, either you are not top choice or tells a lot about processes as well.

For careers@gov application, they usually indicate that shortlisted candidates will be informed 4 weeks from date of application. Since that is far exceeded in your case, pls assume no interest and move on. They usually don’t bother to update application status.
