U said that it was generally OK right? I have an extremely obese colleague with gout and stuff that is still accepted by HR. I don't think htx will ask ur friend to f off.

Yes generally ok but further check up due a bit abnormality.
So doctor ask him to further check to check this out.
So he need to update the hr again on his medical condition on a form when he start work?

Similar to this case, I had a pending specialist appointment after the LOA was given. No formal diagnosis was given yet. Only some mild indicators in a prior blood test at polyclinic. I checked with HR on this, it’s usually no issue but they would request you update the medical declaration again. Unless u are terminally ill and not fit to go to office, then they will consider retracting the offer.

Ok I will let him know to update the hr after his formal diagnosis.
Hopefully everything will be fine for him as he is tending his resignation soon which the
formal diagnosis will be know during his serving notice if his company.
If everything fine, I suppose he still need to update his medical declaration right ?

if he resign and the final diagnosis is not good, his new job retract the offer then he will be be jobless. worried for him.
