NTU pays a salary extremely bad. You can perform as much as you want but salary hike will be 100 dollar.

AM is an E4 position. 5-6k is quite close to the ceiling of the grade i reckon. Probably closer to 4k+ as a starting point.

Pay range/ ceiling of M1/M2
Have been reading through the recent threads. Would like to ask the following:
1) For M1, someone was saying 7k+/ mth is possible. What is the salary range esp ceiling for M1/M2?
2) For NTU, there is 13th month bonus and average 1 month Perf bonus. In addition one can expect an increment of $100+ / year. However, there is a performance bell curve. Is this applied within the dept/ school/ institute or across whole uni?
Thanks, any info will be helpful.

Just curious, between nus and ntu, which school pays better bonus? Comparing in terms of 13th month ,average perf bonus and yearly increment?

I received an offer from NTU. The job grade is E4 and they are offering me $5K (AWS will be given), was told that bonus for average performer is about 1 month plus. I asked about the ceiling but HR declined to reveal but was told that the offered salary is still far from the ceiling. Increment is about 2.5% a year. I am still pondering whether to accept this offer as the overall package is lower than my current one, moreover this is a contract job.

I worked in NUS before, IMO NTU pays better. NUS's pay package has already factored in 13th month bonus.
