Yes promotion is very slow and ultimately most people will reach a stagnant position.
People are promoted especially to managerial position due to performing well in CCA and in good connections with the management.
Pay compared to outside market also lags a huge gap.
Technology used there are also outdated and legacy.
Work is also more process oriented than skills required.

These resulted in a lot of skilled people leaving over the past few months.
So if you accepted the job, you will be posted to cover some roles where people had left.

Unregistered 03-03-2022 12:50 AM

the only nice thing abt this place is your cv will have the word international

Lower base than outside market and 4 month bonus is for high performer only. Avg around 2 months.
need to factor in slow promotion and ultimately get stuck in engineer level for long time.

Bonus company wide same every year...+13th month bonus + at least 2 months performance bonus

Unregistered 18-03-2022 04:10 PM

Average projected variable bonuses (excluding AWS) for 2022:
- Korn Ferry Hay Group : 2.0 mths
- SNEF : 1.5 mths

PSA International variable bonus is higher
- EVA based corporate bonus (everybody gets) : > 1 mth
- Special one-off bonus (everybody gets) : > 1 mth
- Plus individual performance based bonus (varies from person to person), which can be as high as 2-3 mth

not forgetting AWS

who say PSA bonus not high

Many are saying the base is low, low bonus of avg 2mths+ and many talented people have left.

Unregistered 19-03-2022 12:00 PM

ok, still rins like a GLC

Unregistered 19-03-2022 03:59 PM

6 mths bonus so common in mnc. somemore the base so low. know someone that joined psa as fresh grad 2 years ago as ops exec only offered 3.6k/mth

Unregistered 19-03-2022 06:36 PM

they do not offer much for experienced hires, around high 4k to low 5k only.

How is the increment though? $3.6K is indeed quite low especially if need to do shift work

Your friend FCH isit? Either way, it is still low. Imagine receiving what fresh grad are getting now for working 5 years or more...

Its true that PSA like to use high bonus as smoke screen to cover up for their low base pay else nobody will be interested.

This is basic pay not adding incentive. And not all departments have incentive. The bonus is base on your basic pay which is 3.6/4.3. You ask your friend show you the annual pay instead. Then compare it with outside market rate you will know its low.

That's still pretty terrible, statboards like DSTA already paying around that much for engineering fresh grad

Unregistered 18-04-2022 07:58 PM

will continue to see people apply and come here to complain about the low pay.
