OP here, yes i agreed. Mgmt will either get a new hire or someone within the team to "assist" in my current responsibility. I may benefit from the counter offer in short term but long term the opportunity will be given to others

Still the same. The people are still the same. Rebrand many times also won't change anything if the people stay the same.

depending on your current offers and financial situation, it is a decent salary with good benefits
if you are concerned about other factors, go thru glassdoor reviews (most of which are true)
