NCS fresh grad got better chance at progression, and entry salary not so low. I know of fresh grads with non tech degrees getting 5.5k starting under nucleus program. A few years in now they already p3 with 7k+ base salary, havent count bonus of close to 3 months.

Hello wanna ask, I got a friend hired as 1 year contract role...

Wanna ask if after contract ends what's the chance of conversion to perm role?

Is it easy to get a huge pay bump after getting converted to perm role?

If one doesn't get converted to Perm, what happens? Will the contract be extended or will it end?

It depends. Normally, perm job offer will be at 6 month mark.

Then, a new perm contract will be offered with a pay raise.

Do not expect huge pay bump.

Contract staff are already paid more upon joining, plus the pay raise after conversion means higher job grade/salary than existing perm staff. Count it as a blessing..

the enhance check before employment really irritating and troublesome lol
