You know NCS is trouble when they keep using opportunities with Singtel as a seller. I mean Singtel is maybe an average company in SG at best, anyone that needs to keep using such a company as advertising is big trouble.

In short, working in NCS is like drinking kool-aid from your bosses who are promising heavens and earth in exchange for working 80 hours days a week doing something really meaningful and advanced.
Big bonus awaits. Promotion. Transfer to OPTUS/Singtel-HQ if you are doing good* yada yada yada
Lies and empty promises. No such thing. Especially after merger with Singtel. Anyone that said 'it is ok to have low salary since NCS has big bonus' are probably from recruitment company or HR.
It took me a while to find next job. Having NCS as your first job is really bad especially if you want to apply non-SI companies or proper consulting jobs. In term of IT hierarchy, NCS is taking jobs that no other company can or want to do - sh*t jobs with low margin and low value with no regards to quality.
And since NCS salary is quite low even for IT, good luck when interviewing HR asking for your current salary.
Ok better stop now
*come to think about it, if the boss is dangling carrot called 'transferring to other companies' as reward for you working hard in your current one, something is really awfully wrong.

are you still working as a developer? can reveal how much you're earning now? i grad 2 years ago and switched to project mgt now. started 2.8, now 3.4.. seems like decent jump but yeah, low starting salary really hurts

I started ncs fresh out of college. Application consultant. They offer me 3.1 after 2yr+ my salary still hovers about 3.3 . The bonus is bordering derisory.
A lot of factor that goes beyond performance but in ncs, the odds are really stacked against you - unless you are one of those with sweet mouths .
All my attempt to transfer anywhere (singtel/other sbu/other role) are blocked.
I left ncs joining a slightly better tlc. Bumped to 4.x
Challengin work as pm/techlead/devops. Eventually i come to conclusion that tlc is place for people who wants to retire.
Now i am in another company commanding almost 6 as lead dev.
Put it this way...
2 years in ncs: increment of 200
2 years outside ncs: increment of almost 3k
Sounds good?
But again my peer who left ncs after a year (mine is after 2 years) alrd commanding 7+
The one who starts at better place alrd at 8
Conclusion: stay away from ncs

Anyone know NCS confirm their candidate after the interview on the spot or wait for notice?

Don't understand why people still want to join this company after so many negative anecdotes and bad reviews

Not planning to climb.
Pay is good.
Is this still a good idea?
