I noticed a pattern of ex directors leaving during LCH's reign - ACE, Media industry cluster, Media industry development.

If you think that's an ominous sign, wait till you see Marketing and Comms dept. The previous head of dept (Dir) and practically almost every DDs had tendered midway through during LCH's reign. I kid you not. The current roster of D & DDs are new, only came onboard during 2021-2022 ish.

I reported my findings to the previous DD of MID, to thank her for not shortlisting me to the final round. Even bluntly asserted in my email that the previous roster of bosses/leaders from the 2 sample depts had left for a good reason; they ain't fans of LCH.

The last I heard was the DD left IMDA soon after. Maybe my parting email to her triggered too much lol.

End of last yr, I commented in this thread that there are some capable Dirs & DDs from IMDA who managed to 'defect' out of 'North Korea', and was challenged by some users in this forum to give names of 'competent bosses'. I specifically highlighted the marketing and comms dept for the unusually high turnover rate of bosses, and attributed it to their unhappiness with LCH.

Now in this post, you know who else also left IMDA!
I thought I was the only one who noticed this "trend". Good job for summarising it!

Why LCH upload so many pictures of people pretending to read books in office? No wonder this place is screwed as people are posing for the camera instead of doing real work.

It appears that you are also spreading lies about good, hardworking people on this forum simply because you had an unhappy working relationship with them.

I can only imagine the trail of disgruntled, jaded, demoralised employees and peers that you have left in your wake through all these years in the public service.

You seem to favour those who go out of their way to bootlick you because that probably boosts your misplaced ego and makes you think that they are definitely "on your side", instead of looking kindly on those who are competent, work hard and sacrifice their time and energy to complete your tasks.

Shame on you. You are the epitome of the problem that plagues IMDA today.

I remember when i was working there, the ****ed up part which I encountered was the culture wasn't about maintaining the integrity of data. The stats which were surfaced upwards were the result of selective grouping. Data was grouped in a way that highlights the intended outcome while downplaying other relevant groups. But I was a lowly staff too so who am I to speak up LOL
This is the reason why so many people have quit. HR is ****ed up and senior management is incompetent.

Thanks for reminding me about June Koh. Just the sound of her name makes my blood boil. One bootlicker that always entered her office to gossip in the early morning was a dude called AF. He was notorious for spreading misinformation (there should be a POFMA just for him) and caused a lot of trouble in his previous teams. All his team members hate him to the core and shoot him dagger eyes wherever he goes. He literally does no work and claims credit for work done by others. He can sit on the simplest tasks for the longest time. June Koh adored him and promoted him very quickly, while other hardworking staff were passed up for promotion. She probably believed the malicious lies and gossip he spread about other hardworking staff too. Apples from a tree, the two of them.

You mean all these being featured are pretending to read, not real reading ah? Sigh, NLB folks will be so disappointed to hear that it is all a facade, and not a real collab that walked the talk.
