Can confirm. I interviewed at IMDA last year and was doing research on the leadership patterns of 2 sample depts, namely MID and MarComms. I use SGDI, and Linkedin to ascertain when the current directors joined the company, and whether it falls within the period of LCH's reign.

I noticed a pattern of ex directors leaving during LCH's reign - ACE, Media industry cluster, Media industry development.

If you think that's an ominous sign, wait till you see Marketing and Comms dept. The previous head of dept (Dir) and practically almost every DDs had tendered midway through during LCH's reign. I kid you not. The current roster of D & DDs are new, only came onboard during 2021-2022 ish.

I reported my findings to the previous DD of MID, to thank her for not shortlisting me to the final round. Even bluntly asserted in my email that the previous roster of bosses/leaders from the 2 sample depts had left for a good reason; they ain't fans of LCH.

The last I heard was the DD left IMDA soon after. Maybe my parting email to her triggered too much lol.

End of last yr, I commented in this thread that there are some capable Dirs & DDs from IMDA who managed to 'defect' out of 'North Korea', and was challenged by some users in this forum to give names of 'competent bosses'. I specifically highlighted the marketing and comms dept for the unusually high turnover rate of bosses, and attributed it to their unhappiness with LCH.

Now in this post, you know who else also left IMDA!

She's not my boss. I only research about her in order to find out how long her tenure is in IMDA so as to map out any toxic leadership patterns. But she seems like a good and down to earth boss based on her LinkedIn profile. Not cringey and wayang like the other bosses in IMDA. But I know for a fact that IMDA is pushing for thought leadership as PR strategy, becos I happened to see 1 of their past job ads requiring someone who has expertise in that area.

those who had been there before LCH joined and are still there today are clearly the ****, there know deep down in their hearts they got nowhere else to head to

CPIB and AGO should go and dig up the archives of LCH's scholarship interview to check. This guy obviously has zero scholar quality!
