Bad Hire, Bad Exit. Trauma in team.

Please be warned of Candidates (especially if you are hiring in the Beauty Industry)

A candidate like this willfully lied when applying for a job with the company - knowing full well in a startup - hours are long, manic, work life balance is non-existent. Lied that she would be willing to put up with the grind that comes along. Ti gain an insight into a startup and fast-growing eCommerce firm. Came in eyes wide open as she has had friends working in the company before too. and yet insisted that no she treasures her gym everyday, netflix everynight. All the while when the full team works 12-14 hours daily. No guilt, nothing.

Decided not to appear for a series of campaigns - MIA when full team was working through the weekends. Delayed in delivery of work.

Plays victim - husband verbally assaulted and harassed member of the team at midnight when she found her workload too stressful

Her inability to manage her own internal household matters. No admission that his wife had contributed negligibly or close to negatively in her term in the company. Was negligent in her duties to her team, and where all she was concerned with was protection of her own Netflix time, gym time, comfort levels and also "public showing" / "internal PR" "self promotion and advertising" in the company. No ownership in her own contribution or lack of, complained it was due to leadership and bullying when it was her complete inability to adapt as well as her lying through her teeth when joining the organisation that she joined with eyes wide open on the culture and the work involved.

1. Always screen candidates for culture hit and test for 'too perfect answers' - usually those are the most well rehearsed, like S**n
2. Watch out for liars
3. Watch out for those who want to *cruise through*
