Our take home income is around 9k per month exl cpf. and we have a one year old son. Planning to have #2 this year.

Are we doing ok? Should I tell hubby off ? I am rather puzzled.
Your husband is a good man, don't tell him off. Regardless, of the character of his sisters/parents, he is doing a great job as their brother and son.

I can only assume that before you got hitched, family is all he got and being the son/brother, he understands the ups and downs of his family and have made a decision to help and provide for them.

But of course if you feel like the money could be directed to building your family, having a second child etc., you could talk to him.

Hope it works out well!
