based on past evidence, years ending with the digits 6 / 7 / 8 are most susceptible to market crashes...

1986 - hotel new world crashed
1987 - black monday
1997 - asian financial crisis
2008 - lehman brothers crashed
2016 / 7 / 8 - ???
