While I can respond with amount of sarcasm used by the other posters, I'll just directly voice how I feel about the situation.

It's so sad that you'll often hear of employees only doing the minimum that they're tasked with. For a task given by their bosses, any small divergence from what they think they are paid to do will result in a complain.

Can we agree that the days of employees feeling grateful for whatever opportunity they have, knowing full well that they can at anytime be replaced, are over? Ca we agree that no employee is out there to work hard, to work for the company and not for himself?
