Reassuring? Oh please. You would of course expect older folks (the 25-28 year olds) to take such part time courses. The younger ones would mostly be doing proper full time degrees!
Those taking up such part time courses are a "self-selected" bunch. The observation alone should be of little basis (if at all) for assurance of the value of the course.
