You are doing well. Let's say you are now 40 years old. By 60, you would have saved $700k. Invest this in a 5% dividend yield portfolio to get $35k pa in dividends. If you have two kids and they each give you $500 pm, you will get an extra $12k pa. your total passive income will be $47k pa or $3.9k pm. When you reach 65, your
cpf life will give you $3600 pm or $43.2k pa and your passive income will be $90.2k pa.

Our concern is whether we can retire at the age of 60. Can any financial gurus here give some ideas how can we prepare for retirement? Thanks.
