Depends. If you no kids, then die die have to work to earn money. But seeing that you did not have kids to support in the first place, you should have been able to save more than your peers with kids.

On top of that, some people work because they just want to. Not much to do at home, if your mind is active, staying at home would be a bore.

Some people dont 'work'. Their occupation is their passion. They dont see their work as a job in the first place.
