I've read alot of negative stuffs about engineering, which adds on to my worry.

Any engineers out there who can give me some advice on what to do? should i just go for it? or change to another course?

A little about me, i have a dip in EE, right now im halfway thru my NS so i have another year to decide.

Thanks! i really appreciate it!
Any course is good so long as you always make the best of it. Don't worry and divert your attention needlessly. Instead, focus on doing well for your course. The better your results, the brighter your prospects and the more doors will be open to you, regardless of whether it is engineering or whatever course.

Since you have dip in EE and going into EEE degree, might as well use your NS time to continue keeping your knowledge current.

At the same time, be on constant lookout for opportunities, now and later in university. You may not stop at just a degree, and perhaps during your time in univ, there could be chance to go further, if you are interested in the field. Or your path could lead to something else that you try out and find interesting.

Whatever it is, don't do things halfway. Seen many students flop, giving up in the midst of their course, citing lack of interest. I think it's a major waste of time. There is nothing in this world that a person will be 100% interested in. There'll always be some good and some bad. That's life.
