Frankly, the only jobs I see that people can hop from public to private are professional appointments (i.e. Auditor, Accountant, Lawyer, Economist, and Corp Comms etc).
It is hard to hop to private unless you have connections/network, or have at least obtained a middle - senior management positions. More so if you're from
Mindef. Private will say experience not relevant, and probably have to take a substantial paycut.
