Sounds more like made redundant and removed, at 48 retired? I am 49, potential net worth $4m with three properties, 1 landed, 1
HDB and 1 commercial...still working my guts off as a salaried employee, maybe 5 years time slow down at 55, smell a bit of roses, hoping I can find a nice cushy Govt job to work till I am in my 60s, the money forgone in retirement is just too good to miss working.
