Looks very much like the paid-to-click or paid-to-read or paid-to-do-whatever schemes.

I've participated in some paid-to-view scheme eons ago, something called "simple simon" that's operated by a company called trevda (the reverse of "advert"). Won a few small prizes - couldn't justify the time I spent on it. And after a couple of months, the company disappeared, along with simple simon.

If it seems too good to be true, it sure is.
