Hi, I am a mech eng undergrad in
NUS, interested in doing planning/designing kind of job, considering between these 2 industry Offshore engineering(oil rigs, ship....) and construction( bridges,buildings...).
Can any seniors with similar credential share about their past experience in either of these 2 industries?(Basically the things you do, the working hours and culture, and maybe the coy if you can) I read in other posts about the long workings hours in keppel, is that going to be a permanent thing? Or will it only be for the first few years of your career? Would appreciate all comments thanks. Additionally, you all can also offer me other options that are available in Singapore. TY.
