well, I am pretty sure those government career websites have already factored in the
NS portion for male applicants.
What I gather is that the salaries stated on the websites are just ballpark figures and the actual amount they give could actually be quite different.
And, what I am actually interested to know is what's the starting pay like for GEO 1, local uni grad?
