Work life balance is the main reason why I did psych. Right now I am based in a small medical centre in the Northeast my consults are 50/50 phone and in person. I am in the geriatric consult service.

I have lots of time to look at stocks in my phone all day and watch videos while waiting for the next patient. Practice is government sponsored facility so they don’t really care about production targets etc. I generally only see up to 12 patients max in a day. Some take long time like 1 hour but most can be done under 30mins.
