because the income growth is simply faster. it will take a minimum of 10 years working as a consultant specialist for you to have the credentials and confidence to move to private practice . so that's around 20 years if you include the residency and AC.
How do you know that he dropped out of ENT residency? Having MRCS ENT does not necessarily mean that the person was once in ENT residency.
