For most people, going along with this is the best option as they would have already hit the glass ceiling in
MOE. If you're going to be stuck at this level in
MOE, you may as well be paid better as a direct hire.
However, if you know you have a high CEP, e.g. if you are on a talent development programme and/or have been hinted to that you are destined for school leadership or beyond, then you may want to consider staying in
MOE if that pathway is your cup of tea.
