My parents also had YOYO opinions about supporting my studies abroad, which I did say i am okay not studying overseas. Even though they initially said they could help, they later "suggested" I take out a loan, which I understand and am grateful for the fact they supported me thus far. This means I need to adjust my salary expectations to accommodate this, especially with the upcoming BTO payment and a significant loan to repay, along with wedding expenses.
Hang in there bro. 6 years later youll be an AC already. 350k HHI plus 800-900k from selling the BTO to upgrade to a condo.
