They are unlikely to be super direct as its not confirmed. Most schools will identify a possible pool who might get C- or D, but not everyone identified will eventually get it.

They will usually use a line that tells you to work on some AFIs, that you are not performing to grade, or something like that. It should be obvious enough that you know you are at risk, but not to the point of outright saying it.
