Annum is around 96k to 180k.
This referring people who join private as staff (not boss of clinics), and get a commision based pay (that will give the highest pay).
In phi, assuming average performer with 16mths package.
If you have 5k at JG12, 5x16 = 80k.
JG 13, 6k, 6x16 = 96k which coincides with lower end of private.
Bearing in mind you have more trainings, conferences, paid leaves, etc.
JG 14, 7k, 7x16 = 112k
JG 15, 9k, 9 x16 = 144k
Cap of JG16, 13k, 13 x16 = 208k, will exceed private higher end.
And you have much lesser work, more autonomy.
Bearing in mind, if private comission based, as you get older, you see less patients due to tiredness and will earn less.
I would see it as long term vs short term.
First 5 to 10 years definitely private pays better.
10 to 15 years tide will turn
Beyond 15 years phi should be better.
Hope this helps current struggling ahps in phis

Does private gets the same amount of bonus like in PHI?
Sadly I can't go down this route as I'm not a patient fronting AHP.
