While I do like the nature of my job, I cannot fathom why must I sacrifice my potential earnings. If I was in other industry, I believe the future earnings will be more substantial. Hence if you feel that compensation is equally as important as the nature of the job, I would suggest you to skip healthcare. This is because the only way to increase pay is to farm your way up i.e. using time to clock experience, pray get promoted, to move up the pay scale.

There is a reason why healthcare have lots of scholarship programme and recruitment advertisement online and at public transportation. Do you see lots of recruitment ad for industries that provide competitive compensation
