I know someone with 11 years exp joined
UOB recently on vp level drawing 18k+ base. But I feel 13 years exp still at AVP is not a good sign, especially salary also on high end of the rank. It means if he/she does not get promoted to next level soon, he/she may hit band limit and see salary/bonus stagnent.
Post covid with the huge inflation banking salary up quite a lot too, like 15%-20% same rank. Title inflation is another thing - not in the sense big title earning not so much, but big title doing small job. Svp with no subordinate or only 1-2 subordinates is quite common now, which in the oast usually would be a big team like 10+ staff.
