They want the pedigree to maintain the prestige / continue being able to charge clients top rates, get good pitches, etc etc. |
And by top US firms, i dont refer to all the JLVs or the magic circle / magic circle JLV (CC/Baker which accepts top local grads).
Hence the singaporeans who get into top US firms are still really a cut above .
