But after returning, the person also left service within the year lol. In overall, it kinda feels like a waste of time if you're still gonna resign in the end. And you're gonna dread returning to your real work after that anyway.
Reason is obvious. Ministry is still pushing to cut headcount due to the same old spiel: "excess teachers". But MOE does not practice layoffs/retrenchment, so one of the strategies is to get you to see the world outside and realise that the grass is (really) greener on the other side.
