It's easy to make idealistic, righteous comments about how teachers' attitudes "should be" or "ought to be", but in the long run you must remember that teaching is first and foremost a job, and then afterwards, a passion/calling/whatever crap. This is how the employer ought to regard the employees, and how society ought to regard teachers, as well. What we see today is that both society and MOE take teachers' sacrifices for granted, and assume that it is indefinitely sustainable.
