Recalculating the path to 250k for MMed in OPS

8.6k plus 1.25 is the start.

1st year
8.6X12 = 103,200
8.6X1.25=10,750

Plus CPF contribution by employer = 17%X6000x12 = 12240
Grand total = 126,190

2nd year increase by 6%
9.12X12 = 109,440
9.12*1.25 = 11,400

So after 14 years at standard progression of salary will FINALLY hit 250k a year. 14 years after passing MMed.

Maybe there are some other bonus perks I am unaware of. But it is definitely realistic. I do think that the 250-300k mark is probably the limit though.

At the 5 year mark the base is about $156k and that is if every year of the first 5 years is top performer with 6% increase in monthly base pay the following year. So got additional bonus of around 100k? Is it possible?

like OP says 400k is for the CEO.

Actually in this case MMed in SG is actually quite poor compared to other first world countries family physicians.
