But if your undergrad is say NUS/London, regardless of where your Masters are from (everyone knows you just need to pay), they make you go through a “Sheridan’s Fellow” as a testing ground to see if you can prove your worth…and eventually make it to Assoc Prof and Assistant Prof.

Oh plz. Most of those who go straight to unis without a pitstop as JLC was because they couldn’t get the latter. There are exceptions but these are very few and far between.
