Thanks for the insight! Actually I'm not a fresh grad,I am in marine industry and looking for a change of envrionment. 28 this year and I've just being offered a offer in Diploma in applied science (Chemical Technology). This course takes 2.5 years to complete.
Abit too old I know and time is running out, but I don't want to just get a generic degree and stay on in the electronics field, so hoping still in time to make the switch.
I got a friend in SRC and he told me his annual package last year was 60k, not too shabby considering he only got
ite background (5 yrs exp).
He also told me the ceiling for tech is 5-6k.
