You may get more say 3.7- 3.9 K if you have a promo in between the 5 years.

This only applies to US comapnies. If you are in a japanese co. , dun even thk of 35K after 5 yrs. Most japs practice 4% increment. But on avg, u get 3% or slightly less. So if u starts with 3000 SGD....you may only end up with 3.3K.
