The implicated firms are sitting on a time bomb. Their names are already circulating in the industry. How long before the public hears about it and demands accountability? Legions of social media commentators will drag their firm name through the mud. It will eventually spread to their clients and legal news sites. How will their clients have confidence in them then if there's no transparency about whether the cheaters are still working there?

They should proactively distance themselves from this scandal by publicly firing these cheaters. Otherwise, good luck to their next batch of trainees who are to be called. Every client and member of the public will second guess whether they are cheaters or not.
