There are plenty of people with fulfilling and lucrative careers in small and medium sized firms. There are also various examples of people from top international law firms lateralling to local firms (including small/medium firms) because it's easier to make partner and build your own practice there.
So please don't take career advice from a bunch of anonymous forumers who might be the same few individuals posting the same skewed perspective repeatedly.
