Utter garbage. What determines starting salary is the scheme of service (plus any special progs like PSLP etc.) not "prestige" of stat board or whatever nonsense. Thus fresh grad on engineer scheme from
NEA,
LTA,
HDB,
PUB etc. will earn significantly more than fresh grad on general MX scheme from PMO,
EDB,
MAS etc. Prestige got nothing to do with it lol.
