You don't understand that a car is more than transport to some. It is unbeatable convenience and privacy. It is also in my case, a love for driving and a love for cars that makes it a passion that's worth it. I spent 50%. My liquid net worth 200k before car, after car is 100k (car is an expense not an asset so not in net worth).
