you are supposed to try learn from your seniors, emulate them, get a sense of the project management needed. Learn how to carry an engagement independently from start to finish.

some people think they won't stay long so they never bother learning all that

then when they reach senior, jialat liao, not prepared/ready, this and that also dunno.

so they really end up quitting. like self-fulfilling prophecy.
