Hi all, I'm planning to apply for the
SMU JD and
NUS JD programs. Not sure if this is a good move after hearing about milk-till-your-balls-dry work culture and stagnant pay. Esp now need to be trainee for a year at miserable pay (even the kopitiam uncle near my block earns more than me). But I feel that being a lawyer has a longer career track than most professions - where your CV will probably get weird looks when you hit 40 years old.
So now I'm in a dilemma. Any advice?
